At Convey Express Inc we pride ourselves on the service in which we offer. 

It is in the best interest of Convey Express Inc to implement a safe and effective system for prospecting, hiring, and training its staff

and drivers in supporting the industry by using qualified personnel only.

Convey Express Inc has implemented since a new and robust hiring practices to ensure

proper identification of qualified drivers that will consciously perform in the best interest of the general

public and the company.

Our goal is to operate our business in a safe and healthy manner.

By this, we attempt to protect your safety rating as an outward expression of our commitment to public safety and

sound operating practices. 

Our new hiring procedures begin with added stricter guidelines by which we will

select new prospect drivers. 

An initial orientation is conducted by Convey Express Inc Safety & Compliance

Management where drivers will be evaluated and will be addressed by a trained professional with

over 20 years of experience in the field of training and education of drivers.

The driver orientation is broken into the following four (4) categories:

• SAFETY –

• Safety rules

• Driver qualification requirements

• Accident response, investigation, and reporting procedures

• Security procedures

• Safety devices

• Cargo securement

• Windshield obstruction

• Vehicle and equipment use

• Defensive driving

• Training required by the company

• Training required by regulations

• Safety incentives are available

• COMMUNICATIONS –

• Communication expectation:

• Hours-of-service

• Accident and/or Incidents

• Roadside inspections

• Citations

• Reporting mechanical problems

• Emergency and after-hours contacts

• MAINTENANCE –

• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Company maintenance and inspection procedures

• Breakdowns

• Vehicle care

• REGULATORY –

• Hours-of-service & ELD mandate

• Drug and alcohol policies and procedures

At Convey Express Inc we understand the impact accidents have on all parties involved. Our

objective and focus are to ensure all our drivers are properly qualified under the DOT regulations and meet

our driver requirements.

Our Safety Department provides drivers with ongoing training, evaluation, and mentoring on

professionalism, conduct, and new or existing regulations. We hold our drivers to a high standard and

provide the tools to keep them there.
